Annie's Paramount Steakhouse, Washington, D.C.

Late, late Friday night, Brian, Jim (a friend of his who's a charming Southerner from South Carolina who was a Department of Justice retiree) and I went to Annie's Paramount Steakhouse for breakfast.

Jim ate lightly, getting just a bowl of the Maryland crab soup (regular Friday night soup of the day).

Brian got a grilled chicken sandwich with jack cheese on it, and I got a barbecued pork sandwich. Both of our sandwiches came with home fried potatoes.

That's the first time I've ever had anything at Annie's that wasn't beef, and I thought the pork sandwich was really good. I particularly liked the fact that the sauce wasn't soupy or too sweet.
