Wilson's Barbecue, Tulsa, OK
Tony and I just got back from a late dinner. We went to several places, but they were already closed, so we ended up going deep into the north side of town to Wilson's Barbecue, where I had a whole pound of ribs and some cole slaw. I forgot when I ordered the iced tea to tell them to bring me the unsweetened tea, instead of regular. Haven't had regular tea in ages.
McNellie's Pub, Tulsa, OK
Stayed late at the office last night, then went to McNellie's Pub with Bill, an old friend I never get to see enough of anymore, where we dined on their Wednesday night $3 hamburger and fries special and flights of beer. I love their fries--I always get the sweet potato version. Forgot what the five beers were in my flight. I remember they started with pale and progressed to dark, though. Coincidentally, Tony and his class were in there, too, but they were seated on the opposite side of the restaurant.
Now I'm hungry. I should try to sleep, though.....I teach for four hours today, then I have a long rehearsal tonight. Alas.

Taj Palace, Tulsa, OK
Last night while Tony was forced to dine at Spaghetti Warehouse with his family, I went shopping with my friend Philip and we ended up dining at a Hindu Indian place called Taj Palace. Philip was an Indian food virgin, so we didn't get too adventuresome. We had mango lassis and shared chicken korma, lamb boti, saag paneer, basmati rice, kulfi, and kheer. Nothing exciting, but the food is always tasty in this establishment.
